Gavin Yates an American artist born 1960 currently lives in Miami Florida. Gavin’s early education was focused on art and he received the highest of scores. He is self-taught in abstracts which he believes is his best artistic achievement.
Acrylics on canvas is his medium. He creates a very unique method in which he brings fourth technique, balance and style.

Currently he has pieces on exhibit in Artblend Gallery Ft. Lauderdale, FL & Artfusion Gallery Miami, FL and Chamberlain’s Bookstore Jacksonville, FL.

In addition, he has exhibited in numerous group shows such as Artfusion Gallery Miami, Art Basil Miami and The Juried Show at The Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria VA.

Upcoming exhibited shows include The OpenArtCode at the Salone di Donatello of the Basilica di San Lorenzo in the Opera Medicea Laurenziana complex Florence Italy in which only 50 artists are on display. And, Art Expo NYC 2018 New York City, NY.
